PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria woman has learned her fate after being found guilty of second-degree murder in February.
25 News reports Kaitlyn Taylor was sentenced to 14 years in prison Wednesday in the shooting death of Mariah Moss in 2022 on South Sterling Avenue.
Moss died from a single gunshot wound to her upper body.
Taylor is required to serve at least 50% of her sentence, and has received a year and a half credit for time served.
